A Process for Inviting Inspiration
Introduction
Planning is a personal and creative process. Some teachers jot down ideas from their own practice or from other classes or readings. Some make relatively small changes to a standard sequence and others may spend hours upon hours putting their personal stamp on their class. And still others simply use on-the-fly inspiration.
There’s certainly no one way.
If you’re new to teaching or would like some nudges to spark your planning, here is a big-picture way to get started. This lesson provides an overall approach. There are many other lessons that dig into the specific apects of planning and sequencing.
Practice
As we come to realize, teaching is only authentic and meeting its potential for lifting and inspiring others if based on practice.
IT CAN TEACH US TO TUNE IN & FEEL
