In this lesson, we introduce knee extension lift offs, a dynamic drill that builds strength by repeatedly lifting the straight leg from a resting position.

Objective

Understand how to develop active control in knee extension through repetitive, controlled movement.

What You'll Get

What You'll Get: You'll practice lifting your straight leg off the ground and lowering it, training the muscles that extend and stabilize the knee. For your own practice, this means stronger leg lifts and more control in standing poses. If you work with clients, it's a progression tool—once they can passively straighten the knee, this teaches them to actively hold and move it.
