Hey! I’ve been practicing yoga for a few months now, and I really enjoy it, but I struggle with balance in poses like Tree and Warrior III. Do you have any exercises or tricks that helped you improve your balance? submitted by /u/Bubbly-Touch8108

Okay.
First thing: stop calling them balance poses.
They're standing poses that happen to be on one leg.
The trick isn't balance. It's attention.
Pick a spot on the floor. Don't let your eyes wander. Your gaze drifts, you fall. Every time.
Second: your standing foot matters more than the lifted leg.
Press down through all four corners. Spread your toes. Wake the whole foot up.
Most people collapse into the arch and wonder why they're wobbly.
Third: build the pose from the ground up. Not the top down.
Root first. Then stack. Then breathe.
And here's the real one: practice daily.
Balance isn't a trick you learn. It's a conversation between your body and gravity.
The more you show up, the better the conversation gets.
Do the primary series. You'll get standing poses six days a week.
That's how you improve.
Repetition. Attention. Patience.
Done.
