This is Ashtanga Yoga Tech Support. Real questions from the yoga community, answered.
Hi, I unfortunately missed the cutoff by 2 weeks from enrollment a few years ago, so I have to take this new C-IAYT exam. Has anyone taken it by chance? Or just said screw it and not pursued full certification? I graduated from my accredited IAYT program a few months ago and have been putting it off because I can't fathom spending another $500 on fees and this exam that I don't know how to study for/know anything about. submitted by /u/namastayintherapy [link] [com…

Wrong show.
This is Ashtanga Tech Support. Ashtanga yoga. The vinyasa system. Tristhana. Breath and bandha.
You're asking about yoga therapy certification. The C-IAYT. Totally different thing.
I don't teach yoga therapy. I don't know that exam. Can't help you study for it.
You want the IAYT subreddit. Or your program's alumni group. People who've actually sat for that test.
Here's the only useful thing I can tell you: if you spent years training and you're five hundred dollars away from the credential you need to work legally? Pay it. Study for it. Take it.
You didn't come this far to bail because the finish line moved.
But you're in the wrong place. This show is for Ashtanga practice questions. Different lineage. Different purpose.
Good luck with the exam.
Next question.
