Overview

In this lesson, we present Closing Three, the final sequence of the Ashtanga practice that includes Baddha Padmasana, Yoga Mudra, Padmasana, and Utplutih.

Objective

Become familiar with the vinyasa count and breath-movement coordination for the closing postures of the Ashtanga series.

What You'll Get

You'll get the full transition map for ending your practice. The vinyasa count shows you how to move from bound lotus through the forward fold, seated lotus, and the final lift of Utplutih, then back through the standard transition sequence to standing. This is about completing the circle—knowing how to honor the end of practice with the same attention you brought to the beginning.
